Dear Emma,
Wishing you a very HAPPY TWELTH BIRTHDAY!!!!!!! I hope you are having a wonderful day!!! I sent you some presents last weekend that I hope you will like! See photo below.

I was a bit disorganised, so I'll send you a few extra things that I didn't get in time to send off - hope that is OK and very sorry about that!

Dear Em,
I hope you are fine! Grandma has been visiting me here in Melbourne and we have been having a very nice time. We went to the Warrandyte market last weekend. Warrandyte is a nice, leafy old suburb on the Yarra river. We bought lots of nice fresh fruit and veggies to eat. Last Saturday (12/5/07) we caught the train to Geelong and spent the day there. It was really lovely to walk along the beach and to visit the lovely Botanic Gardens there. I'll put some photos here so you can have a look!
It has been just over four years since I saw you last Em (9/5/03), so that is not a short time. I hope you are well and that everything is going great for you! Hopefully we'll be in touch again in the not too distant future :-)
I had a birthday today Em. I'm now forty years old - pretty old, don't you think? Time certainly passes quickly (but it is fun!). You will have a birthday soon too. I hope you are looking forward to your 12th birthday, being twelve is really good!
