Hi Emma,
Hope you are fine! I saw a play about the Goons today. It was called "Ying Tong" and it was really wonderful. It was on at the Arts Centre in town (I think we saw "The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe" there once a long time ago.) "Ying Tong" was about the life of Spike Milligan and his relationship with Peter Sellers and Harry Secombe. It showed Spike performing the Goon Shows with them both and also how Spike had to battle with depression in hospital. The Goon Show performances were so funny. It was the closest I think I'll ever be to seeing a real Goon Show (as Spike, Peter and Harry have all passed away now). I think you would have enjoyed it :-).
