Hello Em,
I hope you are fine Miss Em. My big news is that I have real frogs in my pond! A few weeks back I noticed that one of the tadpoles was swimming in a funny way in the water and then I realised that it wasn't a tadpole but a frog!!! I have been seen quite a few frogs since then. They are tiny, delicate creatures a bit bigger than my thumbnail. They are copper brown in colour with a black stripe through their eyes and a lighter underside. They are active at night so it is easiest to see them early in the morning or in the late evening. I look at the pond every morning before going to work - they are very beautiful! I tried to take some photos but they are very small and hard to get close to (plus my digital camera is not very good), so I haven't managed to get a good one yet. Anyway here is a very blurry one but at least you can see the shape of the frog. I'll try to do better!

Sending you my very best wishes Em.
Lots and lots of love,
Aaron :-)

Hi Emma,
Happy New Year!!!!!! I hope you will have a really great 2007!
I started back at work today, which was a bit of a shock to the system after having just over a week off :-). I didn't do a lot during my break but I had a nice relaxing time. Last Friday (29/12/06) I walked up the Mullum Mullum Creek, which runs near my house, all the way to where it meets the Yarra river. There was a notice there that said this place was very special to the Aborigines that had lived here. It felt special too. It took me about 3 hours to get there. It was a nice walk (apart from it being really, really hot!). I'd like to do it again but leave earlier so I'd be walking in the cool.
I hope you are well Miss Em and wishing you a wonderful and fun year ahead!
Lots and lots of love,
Aaron :-)
