Hi Em,
Hope you are fine! It will be Chinese New Year soon. Today I posted a few presents and a letter to you for this. I hope you like them. As I said in the letter, I thought the doll looked quite sweet.
Chinese New Year letter
I have been back at work for a couple of weeks now. After a quiet start it is pretty much back to normal (so I'm looking forward to my next holiday already :-).
Wishing you all the very, very best Em.
Lots and lots of love,
Aaron :-)

Hello Em,
Hope you are fine! It was Grandma's birthday yesterday. I phoned her and she and Grandpa were having a nice day. I did post some presents last Saturday (a book on gardening and a CD of music by Arvo Paert) but they hadn't quite got there yet, not usual for me!
Yesterday I also went for a nice walk along the Mullum Mullum creek. I was trying to see how far down I could follow the creek on its way to join with the Yarra river. I got quite far (to Warrandyte) before it was getting a bit late and I turned back. On the way there is a beautiful stretch of creek where the bush and the birdlife life are just wonderful. I came down the bank to cross the creek and I saw three rainbow lorikeets on a small tree just beside me. It was amazing how close I was to them and how beautiful they looked with blue, yellow, red and green plumage. I stood and watched them for quite a while and thought how important and fragile the natural world is. That part of the creek could have been cleared for the new freeway but because people spoke up they are building a tunnel instead. Before I left I made them a little promise that I would try to treat the environment better than I have been. It felt like a very special experience.
Wishing you all the very best Miss Em and love you heaps and heaps.
Lots and lots of love,
Aaron :-)

Hi Emma,
Happy New Year, Miss Em!!!! Welcome to 2006!!! I hope you have a really wonderful year ahead.
Today it is much cooler and it has been raining most of the afternoon. What a relief. Yesterday was almost unbearably hot and dry here (It was 43 degrees Celsius). It was so hot that I couldn't sleep properly last night. Even Lulu was having trouble and sleeping is something she can normally do very easily!
I will go back to work in two days so that will be a shock to my system after a week's holiday, never mind!
Love you heaps and heaps,
Aaron :-)
