Dear Emma,
MERRY CHRISTMAS AND A VERY HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!!!!!!!
I hope you are having a really lovely Christmas!! I went to church last night to the carol service and then the midnight communion. I am just back from the morning church service and I'm off the have Christmas luch with Alex and his sister Nancy from church soon
It rained a lot last night and also this morning Emma. That is probably the best present for everyone, especially the trees and the animals. It is really lovely to see all the plants getting a good soaking after all the hot, dry weather we have been having.
I'll give Grandma and Grandpa in New Zealand a ring later. I'm sure that will wishing you a very lovely Christmas too.
Wishing you a beautiful Christmas full of joy and peace and a wonderful 2007 to come!
Sending you much love and best wishes,
Aaron :-)

Hi Miss Em,
I have only just posted your Christmas presents off to you today. Sorry that I am so late doing this! I hope you like them.(see photo below).
2006 Christmas presents for Emma
I am a bit disorganised this year (even more than usual!). I only just made it to the post office in town before it closed to post this to you today.
It has been very hot and dry here so I have been putting extra mulch on all the plants in the garden to keep them live through the hot summer. Hope you are looking forward to a great Christmas and wishing you all the very best.
Lots and lots of love,
Aaron :-)

Hi Miss Em,
Hope you are well. When I got up this morning the sun was shining through a pall of smoke. It was quite a spooky sight. There are a lot of bush fires in the north east of Victoria (not near Melbourne where I am) and the smoke is all over the city. It has been terribly dry here and lightning has started a number of bush fires in the country. I was going to go Christmas shopping in the city today but on the radio they advised to avoid going out in the smoke. It was also really hot (about 37 degrees C), so I decided to go in to the city tomorrow after church. I really need to go or I'll be late with your Christmas presents, which wouldn't be good at all!!!
My brother Jules, his wife Pip and their two friends ,Scott and Colleen, were in Melbourne for a few days last week on holiday. It was really nice to see them and to have them stay with me. I took a day off work and we went to look around in the city. We went to the old Melbourne gaol and also the Zoo. I hadn't seen the new elephant enclosure before but I have now.
Lulu is fine and the tadpoles in the pond look fine too. I look at them every day and they are so beautiful. None of them have changed to frogs yet, I think. My neighbour said that they can delay changing if the weather is not suitable. So with all the hot dry weather we have been having they might think it is better to stay as tadpoles for now!
Thinking of you all the time Emma and wishing you all the very best.
Lots and lots of love,
Aaron
