Hi Emma,
I hope you are well. Things are Ok here. I was very busy working on my assignment yesterday. I managed to finish it so that is really good :-). I posted it off this morning.
I ordered some plants for the garden that Grandma will help me plant when she comes to visit. There are kangaroo paws, grivillea and other native plants. It should be really good. Did I tell you that this house is close to the Yarren Dherran nature reserve? I think so. I can hear the bird calls (e.g. bellbirds, korraburras) from here. It is really nice to walk down to the Mullum Mullum creek. It is so nice and peaceful, I know you would like it!
Love you heaps and heaps Miss Em and hope we can be in contact soon
lots of love,
Aaron :-)

Hi Emma,
I hope you are fine. I haven't updated this website for a little while but I have been writing to you on paper. I'll start adding these to the website now. Sorry about that my poor updating! Today I'm writing to you directly while sitting at my computer (which is a much more efficient method)!
Things are fine here, Miss Em (apart from missing you very much, of course). It has been quite wintery and cold in Melbourne recently. One good thing is that we have been having more rain lately. This is very welcome as it was really dry here up until about a month or so ago. Poor Lulu had a bout of the sneezes about three weeks ago but she seems to be almost fully recovered now, which is a relief. Now that it is cold she likes to sleep inside snuggled up close to me inside, which is really nice!
I got my half year computer result last week and I passed OK. I got 83%, which was better than I had expected. I only have just half a year more to go and I'll be finished my computer course. Yippee! My second half of the year course started just this week. It is called "Practical Project". It looks fun but a lot of work. The first thing to hand in is due next Friday, so I had better get cracking! I think you are in Grade 4 this year, Em Em. I hope you are enjoying school! Studying is a lot of work but it is fun too!
My new job at work is going quite well. I am pretty busy and I am still learning but it is good to have a change.
Grandma from New Zealand is coming to visit next month, so that will be really nice. She is going to help me organise the garden at 48 Quarry Road. It is not as big a garden as we had at 4 Ashley Street (which makes it easier for me to look after). 48 Quarry Road is on a corner and it would be better if I had more screening plants along the side to make it more private. At the moment there are a lots of lavender bushes on the west side of the section but they don't really give much privacy. So hopefully we can plant some more plants here and make the garden more beautiful and the house a bit more private. I know Lulu will like having more plants to hide in!
I had better go and do a bit of study now, Miss Em. It is almost 2pm on Saturday and the day is quite cold and grey outside. So this is a good time for studying inside the Deakin University library!
Missing you and thinking of you all the time and hoping that we can make contact one day in the not too distant future.
Love you heaps and heaps,
Aaron :-)
