Dear Em,
I hope you are fine, Miss Em. I had a bit of a fright when I got home tonight. I could hear Lulu meowing but I couldn't see where she was. Then I saw that she was very high up a tree in the garden. Poor Lulu was stuck up there! I went and got the ladder from under the house but it only reached part of the way up. It looked like the only thing for me to do was to climb up the tree. I went inside to change out of my work clothes and I also got an extra pair of some old trousers that I could put around my middle and tie myself to the tree with (I didn't want to fall!). However when I had got back clever Lulu had climbed part of the way down the tree by herself. I stood at the very top of the ladder and I could just reach Lulu. I grapped her by the scuff of the neck and then carried her back down. Lulu was really pleased to be back down again. She was purring and rubbing against the ground. Somehow I don't think she will be climbing that tree again!
I did some more work in the garden last weekend (26/2/05 and 27/2/05). I mowed the lawns and pulled out some weeds from the back garden. I think working in the garden makes me feel more settled here. There are some nice big trees here and I really like them. I really hope you will be able to see them one day too!
Emma, it is coming up to Easter soon. I went into the city on Sunday afternoon (27/2/05) to buy some small things for you for Easter. I still need to do more shopping but I'll try to finish by this coming weekend and post them to you.
Love you heaps and heaps, Emma and wishing you all the very best. I miss you very much and I can hardly wait until I can get a chance to see you again.
Lots and lots of love,
Aaron :-)

Dear Emma,
I hope you are well and that you had a good Chinese New Year celebration!! Things are fine here. I spent most of the afternoon in the garden. I just did some weeding at the front but it looks a lot better. Lulu was sitting with me so that was really nice. Lulu is settling in well at the new house. Tomorrow I will get some mulch for the front garden beds. The garden here at Quarry Road is a fair bit smaller than 4 Ashley Street, so I think it is a more manageable size for me to look after (i.e. No more excuses for me if I let it get messy :-).
I will start my computer studies at Deakin soon so wish me luck with these. It is good to study but it does keep me busy. Emma, I hope school is going fine for you and that you are enjoying your time there :-).
Love you heaps and heaps, Miss Em and sending you my very best wishes.
Lots and lots of love,
Aaron :-)

Dear Emma,
Happy Chinese Year!!!!!!! I hope you have a wonderful year ahead. I have send you some little presents for Chinese New Year (I send them to the old address I have for NaiNai, hopefully they can reach you). I really hope you like them!!!!! See the photo below.
(Oops, that isn't a very good photo, is it. I'll try to do better next time!!!!!)
I had half a day off work today and my main plan was to update this website (I am behind again!). However I'm not feeling too well. I think I picked up a cold from my visit to China, so I have slept in bed for most of the day. In the end I'm writing this on a bit of paper and I'll have to upload it to the website later!
Emma, I had some important news about you on Sunday (6/2/05). Before I wasn't sure where you were living exactly but I thought it was China. Now I am more sure that you really are living in China and that you are still safe and well. It is really nice to get news about you, Em - especially to hear that you are fine!!! I hope I can get more news about you soon but I guess I need to be patient :-).
Wishing you all the very best , Emma, and hope you have a lovely New Year celebration.
Love you heaps and heaps,
Aaron :-)
