Hi Em,
Today is ANZAC day, so I get a holiday from work. I have been finishing updating my web diary to you on the computer, so I can finally upload it. Sorry I'm so late doing this!!!
There is a German film festival on at the moment in the city. I saw the film "C(r)ook" with my friend Karen on Friday night (22/4/05). It was a really funny film about some gangsters in Vienna, Austria. On Saturday (23/4/05) I saw the film "Snowland (Schneeland)". This was a very shocking film about a yong woman who was treated very badly by her father. It was really awful to watch parts of this film. Em, if you want to see this film then I would wait until you are a lot older, because it is not an easy film to watch! One good thing was that I meet my german teacher, Uschi, at the cinema, so that was really nice. When I finish my computer studies this year it would be really good to do more language study next year, hopefully more German and Chinese!
I going to do some more computer study this afternoon. I still have 4 weeks or so until the next assignment is due but there is a lot to do so I should be doing some now!

Hi Em,
I hope you are fine, Miss Em. I have gotten a bit behind updating this web diary again!! So I'll update it now using the handwritten notes in my diary.
My assignment was due yesterday (Friday 15/4/05) and I just got it finished in time. It was a bit of a mad panic at the end (i.e. the same as always!). So it is a relief that is done.
Your cousin, Hannah from New Zealand and her boyfriend, Christopher arrived to stay for a few night on Wednesday(13/4/05). They have been up in Sydney and will go home tomorrow. Today we went to Healesville, which was really nice. We spend a lot of time at the maze (the one that you, Grandma, Joe and me went to a few years ago). It was nice to see it again. Then we had a ice cream at the ice cream place in Healesville before quickly looking at Badger's Creek park and the Maroondah dam. Unfortuinately it was too late to show Hannah and Chris the animal sanctuary. Hopefully another day!
It was nice to see Healesville again and all the places we had been together, Emma, but it did make me feel sad that I haven't seen you for so long. I really miss you very much. I can hardly wait to see you again.

Hi Em,
I hope you are fine! I forgot to include some news in my diary for last month, so here it is now. On Friday, March 18 I heard that my application for a new job at PPG was successful. I'm really pleased about that! The new job title is "Auto Refinish Product Administrator".It means that I can have a change from lab work (I have been working in the lab for about 16 years, so I'm overdue for a change). It also means that I will have more chances to use some of my IT training, so it will be really good. Unfortunately I can't start my new job just yet as they need to get a replacement in the lab before I can leave. I'll probably start in 4 to 6 weeks.
Some other news is that the exhaust on my car is broken. My little yellow car had been making a funny noise for the last few days but yesterday the noise suddenly became really loud (It sounds like a noisy truck!). Unfortunately it happened just after I had given my friend Karen a lift to her work yesterday (Karen needed a lift because she had had a stomach checkup in the morning and wasn't allowed to drive that day. She has been unwell with stomach pains recently so that is a bit of a worry). That meant when I picked her up after work she got a bit of a shock at how loud my car had become!
I have an assignment for my IT study due soon so I am getting quite busy working on that. Wish me luck! Hope you are well and sending you my very best thoughts and wishes.
