Hi Emma,
I posted off my last assignment for this year off yesterday. As usual it was a mad rush to get it finished. I should really have posted it on Monday (25/10/2004) but I was a day late. Oh well, at least I got it done! For my assignment I was learning how to use Eiffel, a very nice computer language. After my exam I want to use it to write some more programs for myself and for you. I'll make sure every good program I write will be dedicated to you (and hopefully every program I write will be good!)
Apart from getting my assignment finished, nothing much exciting has happened in the last week and a bit (except that my yellow car broke down again! The brakes stopped working so that is something that I couldn't ignore). Now I just need to study for my exam next week and then I'm finished studying for the year. Phew!
Wishing you the very best Emma. Keep smiling and laughing where ever you are.
Love you heaps and heaps,

Hello Em,
I hope you are well Miss Em. Well, I have not completely decided about my plans for next year but I have taken a big step make it easier for me to change. I have sold 4 Ashley Street. I only put it on the market last week and it sold really quickly. I hope I'm doing the right thing by you Em and that you won't be upset by this. The other thing I'm worried about is that it will make it harder for you to find me (though of course I'll still be looking for you too!). I'll make sure I am as easy as possible to trace. Even though I have sold the house I can still live in 4 Ashley Street until 14 January 2005, so I still have a bit of time to get organised.
Poor Lulu got a bit sick last Sunday (10/10/2004). She started vomitting, which was a worry. I took her to the vet on Monday night and she stayed there overnight. She is taking antibotics now and is eating special easy to digest food. She seems to be a lot better but I'll have to take her back to the vet's for another check up in a few days.
Another thing that happened in Australia last Saturday (9/10/04) was the election. Unfortunately John Howard's party won again :-(. I would have liked it better if Labour had been elected but that didn't happen. Never mind, they can try again in another three years!
Wishing you all the best Emma. It feels ages since I have seen you Em so I am missing you a lot. But I'll send you my good thoughts and hope to see you soon :-).
Lots and lots of love,

Hi Emma,
I hope you are well Em. I actually writing this on the computer after the 8th using notes that I took at the time. Sorry about that!
Well, I got my computer assignment in last Monday (4/10/2004). There is only one more assignment and then an exam to go. It is fun studying but it is also hard work so it will be relief to get through it all!
Em, I am wrestling with a difficult decision at the moment. I am deciding whether I should have a change of career or not. I'm thinking of going back to New Zealand and studying to become a primary school teacher. One positive is that I feel that it would be good for me to have a change. Sixteen years working in a paint laboratory is quite a long time! Also I think working with children is very rewarding. I really enjoyed the times I helped out in your Prep class at Old Orchard Primary School. Another thing that is a positive is that it would be good for me to go back to New Zealand, at least for a while. Sometimes when you have a difficult experience (by that I mean not seeing you for so long) it is good to get back to your roots. The last positive I can think of (but it is an important one) is that being a teacher is a more portable job. So if I want to live somewhere closer to you, where ever that is right now!, then that is an option.
There are some negatives I need to think about as well. One really important one is that I don't want to make it difficult for you to find me if you look for me in the future. Another important one is that I don't want to do anything that would spoil my chances with the legal system to have contact with you. I don't think my chances will be worse if I'm in New Zealand but I need to find out! One other thing to think about is that if I study for a year then I won't have much income, so that won't be easy!
I really hope you are happy and well Emma. I'm sending you all my love and best wishes.
Lots and lots of love,
Aaron :-)
