Hello Emma,
Hope you are well. I got my assignment finished on time, thank goodness! I took most of last Wednesday (25/8/04) and all of Thursday (26/8/04) and Friday (27/8/04) off work, so I had plenty of time to do my assignment. It was nice to sleep in a bit in the mornings but apart from that I didn't do much other than work on my assignment. I have to admit that I did finish reading a book in that time too. The book is called "The Gathering" by Isabelle Carmody. It was a bit of a scary book but it was thrilling to read. It was about an evil headmaster at a school that a boy had just started going to. I'm not sure whether you will like when you are older or not. It depends on whether you like scary stories or not :-). Do you think you will?
It is almost the end of August, Emma. Time seems to be going by very quickly. It is a bit of a worry in a way but at least it will mean that I can see you again sooner :-). I'm really looking forward to that!
Love you very very much Em. Sending you my very best wishes.
Love you heaps and heaps,

Hi Em,
I hope you are fine. Things are OK here (apart from missing you very much of course). Last week was quite a busy week. Apart from work being busy, I had some people from the English class for dinner at my place on Thursday night (19/8/2004). Tae Yeong, a young Korean man from the English class is going back to Korea in a few days time so we had a farewell dinner. At the dinner were Tae Yeong, Sue and Hoon from Korea and Jun and Kanae from Japan. They are all really nice people and it was lovely to have them at my place. I cooked a bean casserole, a feta cheese and vegetable tart, some potato wedges and a spinach and chickpea curry. The food was not too bad (I think!). They also brought some Korean food (a noodle dish and some vegetable fritters and potato) so we had plenty to eat. They brought a DVD player and a DVD of a Korean movie called "Classic' too. It was a long movie but it is a lovely story. It is a love story so you might not think it was very interesting now but I'm sure that you will enjoy watching it when you are older.
This morning I went to Chinese class and then did some tidying up around the house and some work on the computer. I am going to take a few days off work next week so that I can finish my second assignment for SCC776 Software Engineering. I'm feeling a bit tired now so it will be good to have a few days off work!
Love you very very much Miss Em. I'm sending you a big hug in my thoughts :-)
Lots and lots of love,

Hello Em,
Hope you are well. I'm typing this out at Deakin University. I did get my assignment finished in time for last Monday but it was a bit of a rush. Work has also been really busy this last week so I was pretty tired this weekend. I thought I made be starting to get a cold but I had a good sleep and I'm feeling fine now.
The weather yesterday (14/8/04) was really cold and windy and there was a lot of rain. It wasn't a good day to go out so I mostly stayed at home (apart from a quick visit to the Box Hill Library). Today the weather was better. In the morning I had a go to work for a bit (Oh dear!) but it wasn't for too long. In the afternoon Chris from the church invited me to afternoon tea and I enjoyed that. Tonight I was invited to dinner at Bila's Indian restaurant in Box Hill by some people I know from the English Conversation class. So I had a very social day today! Unfortunately it means I didn't do as much computer study as I should have this weekend. Never mind, I think I will still be Ok :-).
I'm missing you very very much now Emma. I really hope you are fine and also that I can receive some news of you relatively soon.
Love you very very much,
Aaron xxx ooo

Hello Em,
Welcome to August!! In Australia that means only one more month to go before Winter changes to Spring. I don't know where you are for sure but I think you are somewhere in China, so for you it will be Summer changing to Autumn.
Grandma and Nikita left Melbourne this morning and will be flying up to Brisbane to see Grandma's sister (your Great Aunty Jan) and her children. It was sad to see them go but at least they will be warmer up there. The last two weeks in Melbourne have been pretty cold!
Last night Grandma , Nikita and I went out for dinner in Box Hill. We went to the China Bar restaurant, which was nice. Afterwards we went to Timeout and Nikita played a few electronic games. She liked the one where you hit the crocodiles on the head the best, just the same as you!
I have an assignment for my computer course due this Monday so this weekend I will be very busy trying to get it finished. Wish me luck!
Love you heaps and heaps,
Aaron xxx ooo
