Hi Em,
How are you? Well I hope! I made up my mind to write this web diary to you on a
long walk I had today. It was a beautiful Spring day and I was walking on the
track by the freeway to Deakin University to do some study. But I decided to
keep on walking into the city. I listened to Radio National on my headphones
and thought about you a lot. It was a nice walk, like a small adventure I
guess. I'll keep writing this web diary as it is really nice for me to write
to you (and hopefully it won't be boring for you if you read it!)
Love you
heaps, Aaron

Hi Emma,
I saw a good film tonight called "Tartuffe". It was a black and white, silent
film made in the 1920s by the German director F.W. Murnau. I find black and
white, silent films really atmospheric and compelling to watch. Emil Jannings
was the frightening and charismatic religious fanatic "Tartuffe" and Lil
Dagover was the beautiful and brave heroine. I wonder what you would make of
these old films? You wouldn't like them now I think but maybe when you are
older you might.
Love as always, Aaron

Hi Emma,
Hope you are well. This web diary will go up on the website this weekend (about
time too I think!). I did plan to be studying most of this weekend but I also
found time to read a good book - "Fire and Hemlock" by Diana Wynne Jones. I am
sure you would like this book when you are a bit older (in your early teens I
guess). It is about a girl called Polly and is full of magic and mystery. I
like all the books by Diana Wynne Jones that I have read. Some of them are
"Eight Days of Luke", "Dogsbody" and "Archer's Goon". Good books are
wonderful, don't you think?
Love you heaps, Aaron
