Hello Emma,
Hope you are fine. I have been busy looking for houses to buy or rent and it is really hard work! I saw houses in Blackburn and Donvale that looked quite good but they were sold before I could see them properly. There was also a unit in Blackburn that was quite cheap but it was in a bad area (near Burnt Street in Nunawading) so I don't want that one! There is a house in Mitcham that I want to look at now. I would have preferred to buy another house in Box Hill but they are all very expensive (especially after you take out the agent fees on 4 Ashley Street and include the 5% sales tax on the new property). I don't want to get too large a mortgage as that is not good, especially if I might want to change jobs in the future. So I had better just keep on looking!
I (finally!) posted your presents yesterday Em. I really hope that they will reach you in time for Christmas! Here is a photo of them.

I have been in Wellington since Tuesday (16/11/04). It has been very nice here with lovely sunny weather and clear skies. I took a couple of photos that you might like. One is the view of Wellington from the top of the cable car and the other is of the city square.

Hi Em,
Grandma and Nikita arrived yesterday (23/7/04) from New Zealand. I took the day off from work and picked them up from the airport. I was almost late getting theer because I was rushing around doing last minute housework! It was really good to see them both. After going back home and dropping off their bags, we all went to the Open Range Safari Park in Werribee. I know you and I had a nice visit there once. The weather was a bit cold but it was OK sitting in the bus. Nikita really likes giraffes and we had a good closeup view of some of them from the bus so that was good. Here are a couple of photos that I took from the bus. I hope you like them!

Hello Emma,
It isn't far away from your birthday now. You must be getting excited! It will be really great for you to be nine. I brought some birthday presents for you last weekend (Saturday 15/5/04 and Sunday 16/5/04). It isn't much really but I hope you will like it. I got you another Tintin book, a Roald Dahl book, a stationery set which looked like fun, a Madeline video, an elephant hand mitt for washing with and some nice things to eat. You can see what I sent in the photo below.

Photos from work conference in Launceston, Australia.
This is a statue near Launceston Library (Are those dingos? I'm not sure)
This is the central street in Launceston. I though it was quite pretty.
These are some shots of the River Tamar, which runs beside the city. It was very wide.
This was a water bird and her chick by the lake in front of the conference centre. I don't know what type of bird this is. I should find out shouldn't I!
